"As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

Believe it or not, that was the biggest challenge I could face today.

Work was hard.

I love Christmas!...but I hate baseball cards...

Hello all!

I wanted to share a picture of me and a new found friend of mine, the Hello Kitty Plush Koala...but I don't know how to do that just yet. I sound retarded and completely technologically incompetent, I know. But see - I usually use another computer where I just put in the SD card and go from there. This time I'm not. I'm using my own computer. And I usually have some cord that would hook up the camera to the computer, but now I'm sure I've eaten it. Or the ghost in my room stole it. Either way, I don't know where it is.

Oh, did I mention that I'm on MY computer because my boyfriend fixed my laptop?

Because he did. He even found HK wallpaper for it. It was an awesome Christmas, to say the least. My mom made both Vance and I new scarves, and then she gave me a gi-normous basket of food. My brother gave me an abs belt, which I have already used. It's awesome...but also a little scary. I can just imagine me sitting here with it on, drinking a glass of water...suddenly, the glass slips out of my stubby fingers and -

And it spills all over the belt, causing some horrible malfunction and bowel disruption. (Okay, the last part just makes me laugh.)

I googled images of "Painful bowel disruption" and Dr. Rockso came up...I say it fits.

I'm relieved, though. Vance is a very good gift-giver. I took a very cute picture with my Hello Kitty, but, as I explained earlier...I have no idea how to make use of that, so this is what it looks like:

Exclusive Hello Kitty 5" Plush Koala

Eyelove.

He also gave me like fifty million tubes of chapstick, which was a smart move. If I don't have chapstick, it's gonna' be a bad day. Seriously. Let me tell you a little something about Chapstick...I never drive if I don't have some on. (I live in a very arid climate, geez, guys, stop judging me!) In addition to that, he also got me socks.Yeah, I said socks. Maybe we've already reached that point in our relationship where it's okay to buy each other underwear and socks....or maybe he knows I just love socks. But he got a particular kind of sock that I like most, which are knee-high socks. And they're argyle....I see he already realizes that I'm a classy lady. (How argyle equates classy in my head, I have no clue.)

Men are so much more observant than I previously gave them credit for. Even my brother! I always complained to him about my abs and the countless crunches I've done, in vain, to whip them into shape. So then he went ahead and bought the SlenderTone Abs Belt for me. Good job stepping up the game this year, men!

I've been using an awful lot of exclamation points. I guess I'm excited! (Hrm, there goes another one...)

(This is kinda what my Slendertone looks like, btw.)

I also received some very awesome gifts from Vance's sister. How she knew that I use about fifty dollars of body wash a year, I have no clue, once again. And she gave me something that I describe as "the jackpot of Christmas gifts"...a Victoria's Secret giftcard!

Soon, this will be me!

It was a good day. I got to see family a little before Christmas, which is always super fun. Then I got to hang out tons with Vance, which is also fun. And..you know...the gifts didn't hurt either.

101 in 2011

Well, it's getting close to the new year! And you all probably know what that means....It's time for a new list of 101 Things for 2011!

So far, this is what I've got:

1. Horseback riding!

I'm gonna ride you, Horse! Look at its long flowy hair...wow....

2. Lose 10 pounds.

I lost almost fifty, but I'm still trying for the final ten! WOLVERINE!!!!

3. Go to Durant's

I passed this restaurant everyday for three years while in high school. And for many years after I have wanted to go! It's a classic 1950's steakhouse with a killer gin martini...so...I probably won't eat much there. But it's so old school - you even go in through the kitchen! VANCE! Are you reading this? It sure sounds like your kind of place...

4. Visit family in the Philippines!
 Okay...this is Boracay...where they don't live...but I could go there!

That's more like it: Manila and a traditional house in the province!...and maybe Boracay, haha.

5. Start a Roth IRA

It's never too early to plan for retirement, my friends.

So, that's some of what I've got so far...I always make it to 101, but we'll see how it goes. If anyone has an idea of something to put on the list, please let me know! For the past couple years, suggestions from friends have ALWAYS made it on to the list! Also, anyone interested in helping me accomplish my goals should let me know as well. I love adventures with friends!
