“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Maryanne Williamson
And that, my friends, is one reason sacrament is so awesome. :)
Third-force, I am going to KICK. YOUR. BUTT.

Life, as of late.
So, this is what I've been doing at work when no one is checking in.
Today I made a towel animal turtle. I think he's actually my favorite, so far.
Other life updates:
*Still a workaholic.
*Still can't sleep well.
*I caved...I drank an energy drink today. I know, I know...I said I'd try to give them up. But what can I say, it tasted like going home....and now I'm wired and it's after midnight.
*Team Too Legit is doing exceedingly well. Vance is the best boyfriend ever!
*Pimp Juice is still pretty intense.
*I saw Battle: Los Angeles...and it was hella good, even for a movie with aliens...which I am terrified of normally.
*I ate pierogies today. Important? No. Delicious? Yesh.
*Charlie Sheen is intense....WINNING. Haha. It must be really difficult to be Charlie Sheen's publicist right now. Seriously, though.
I always think that I have so much to write about...but I guess I don't. One of these days I'm going to actually write a detailed entry. *Yawn*
Mmmmm. Pierogies.

Let's get some shoes...let's party.
So what's happened in the time between posts?
Well, I've knocked another thing off of my list for this year - VEGAN WEEK.
I'm not gonna' lie to you folks. It was difficult. EXCEEDINGLY DIFFICULT. But thanks to the miracle of soy, I made it through the week. I probably had a vegan soy smoothie for breakfast everyday. I think one of the hardest things was that I couldn't have chocolate. UGH. Even a lot of dark chocolate has some type of dairy in it.
And then some things that are dairy free have HONEY in them. Damn it. And the things that somehow magically didn't have honey OR dairy had coffee or tea in them. Wha the heck, whatever is a vegan Mormon to do?!?!? And the funny thing is, when you somehow got something without any animal product what-so-ever, it was usually gluten-free, too. It's like... the store's one all-purpose food for people who don't eat everything.
In the end, I kinda got the hang of it, and it did honestly make me feel a little bit...lighter. That's the only way to describe it. I feel like I seriously could've developed superpowers if I stayed with it long enough. If soymilk weren't so dang expensive, I'd drink it all the time instead of regular milk...which I don't...drink anyway. But I guess I'd use it in my cereal?
On another note, I think I have a thing called "Turf toe". It's from running in my crappy crappy shoes. I suppose rest will fix it, but I need to do cardio, dang it! I just don't feel like I've really worked hard enough if I don't run. But my toe hurts. I know, that's so important to everyone out there in the world, right?
I went shopping with my boyfriend Vance, and it was awesome. He's almost freakishly tall (I love you, Vance!...but seriously, you're super duper tall, man.) and also skinny, so it's sometimes hard to find a size that fits right. Frowns. As he now knows, I'm good luck for shopping, though. I think he found some really good stuff at super excellent prices...as if I would allow him to buy anything at full price! *snort* That's just not how we do things 'round here...
Within five minutes of walking in the door with him, I fell in love with these red shoes with the ruffles on the back:
SEVEN. And they looked awfully sad and lonely, so I decided to give them a new home...in my closet. They are happy and have countless friends to keep them company. (I told you I was good luck for shopping!)
On a final note: I seem to be getting dizzy a lot. I wonder what is causing that?
